  22. Apple and harris Corp's Dracon Division have agreed to develop a wireless communications system based on the Newton MessagePad.

"The device, called the Craft Digital Assistant, will be built by Apple for Harris.  It will combine Newton communications capabilities with the Harris Dracon Division's SuperTech 2000 telecommunication technicians automation and information access system.  The Craft Digital Assistant will be based on the MessagePad design and feature a wireless LAN device similar to Digital Ocean Inc.'s Grouper, more memory and a reinforced case, a Harris representative said.
